A lot of present fashion trends for 2015-2016 are very much influenced by the PopArt culture.
I decided to concentrate on one of the streams in particular, the Op-Art or optical art as it is also called. It’s not a secret that optical elements and patterns returned as a baseline starting 2012-2013 but is this end of the year that represents their flamboyant statement as an actual trend.
As I remembered the polka dots in one of my past articles, I decided to start with that pattern and present it as an Op-Art icon. The style I used is as classic as it gets combining tulle and silk and adding white eco-fur polka dots to fluffy-it up a little. The airy look of the tulle is stabilized by the heavy appearance of the silk and it creates a nice sexy and balanced look.
